HINOKI ACADEMY

Hinoki Academy is a hands-on bilingual international school for elementary and middle-school students in Oita, Japan.

 

We serve families that want an education for their child that inspires them to lead with compassion and to connect with others. We meaningfully integrate faith in life and learning. We are an eco-school that believes that learning in God's creation and growing our food leads to important life-skills such as risk-mitigation, care, responsibility, perspective and hope. We value Japanese culture, story-telling and traditional farming techniques.

The Hinoki Academy Scholarship Fund was created to provide needs-based scholarships for qualifying students attending Hinoki Academy. Your donation demonstrates a commitment to provide access to a nurturing, effective, faith-based education in our rural city of Oita, Japan. Your gift will change the lives of students by creating access for them to attain the kind of education they need. The Hinoki Scholarship Fund is a designated program, resulting in a direct impact on qualifying students. We currently have local family requests for tuition assistance in the coming school year.
